About

The Pokédex Project

A fast, clean, and modern reference for every Pokémon — built by fans, for fans.

What Is This?

This Pokédex is an unofficial fan-made web application that lets you explore data on all 1,025+ Pokémon from every generation. The goal is simple: provide the most useful Pokémon reference in the cleanest possible interface.

Whether you're looking up base stats, type matchups, abilities, evolution chains, or move sets — it should all be one click away, fast, and readable on any screen.

Where Does the Data Come From?

All Pokémon data is sourced from PokéAPI, a free, open-source RESTful API maintained by the Pokémon community. PokéAPI aggregates data from the official Pokémon games and is widely used by developers and fan projects around the world.

If you notice inaccurate data, it is most likely originating from PokéAPI. You can contribute corrections to PokéAPI on GitHub.
